To be loved. Beloveds.
Im Eddie Zondi on the 1s and 2s 🧡💘💙. You aint ever can get a love like mine, when I do say I love you, you just have no idea what that means. I'm easy, you see. Easy like Sunday morning.
Im listening to this song, “Take me as I am". Mary J Blige poured her heart out here. A life of pain, angst, trauma, broken promises, abuse, cheated on. She stayed strong, her faith never wavered, and she found a breakthrough after so many breakdowns.
I relate to this story, and I think it describes our heartache, most of our longing, and our yearning for nothing but a greater love, filled with a higher intelligence, and covenanted by and in front of God.
The track samples a Lonny Smith instrumental beat, from his song “A Garden of Peace". Its the most sampled song in RnB and Hip Hop. The original is in the Jazz genre. A masterpiece and an inspired sonic experience. You have to find it and listen while you are in the garden before the sun goes down.
And when you listen to those two songs, you move on to the thriller that is this one from the same Mary J album.
She won all the Grammys for this one. And its definitive, the light eventually comes around and finds you. And you just have to glow in return. Because God is love.
And you are never the same when you find God, who is Love, and who is a Man and a Woman.
Get your glow and shine sis.
