Outliers and Izangoma.
The thing about this book. It explains you and I and everyone of us. We are all Outliers. A lot of people are gifted in one way or the other. Malcolm Gladwell calls them outliers. But I think thats how God designed us to have different talents that keep humanity going forward.
We are all gifted and we are all intellectually gifted. And we carry the God spirit, the feeling spirit, the design spirit and the thinking spirit. We were designed to help each other to solve problems in a different way that keeps us and our communities bonded to solve problems for each other. Ubuntu.
Everyone of us is gifted. We are special people. And I think this is true for the black man and Africans in general.
And they, the gifted people, are connected to nature. And thats what a lot of people dont realise. Gifted people have higher intellect and they suffer a lot throughout life if they dont find something that releases their gift. The calling. Their purpose. A higher intelligence.
They are thinking and feeling people, they are the people that change the world, the people that love peace and the people that understand the value of community for the betterment of society, they innovate.
They suffer, their minds torture them, they search for meaning, they analyse, they study, they read, they write, they preach, they create,they collaborate, they share ideas, they drive new thinking and they move humanity forward. They are very misunderstood 😣
These are the people that are called sangomas. Abantu abaphethe ubungoma, people of the songs!
An entire book exists in the Bible that carries songs! And wisdom! Its hidden in plain sight!
Ukuthwasa and accepting your calling of purpose is the thing that gets you to materialise your gift, someone helps you find your purpose and to get you closer to your purpose of helping people and advancing our humanity. Healers.
And they connect you to your history and to the people that have lived long before you, who suffered and are spiritually asking you to do better for your people to gain freedom for you and your people.
And because the oppressor people understood this, they outlawed our spiritual connections and made up all sorts of laws to ensure that these thinkers and this thinking is suppressed.
And while doing this, they made alcohol and drugs and all sorts of hallucinogens to be easily accessible such that when the black man is troubled by his spirit(s) his only exit to quell the violence in his head was to get inebriated. And he is pushed to suicide or violence.
You dont believe me? Look at the crack and cocaine fueled 60s and 70s in America that was happening alongside the black civil rights movement!
All of this was done to us, just so we could be dulled in our senses and to loosen our divine connections. And its a method that was applied by oppressors everywhere for control and to give boundaries to the resistance. And they are still doing it! OMG!
Why is there so much crime in black communities?
And so many black people in prisons?
Have you ever wondered why there are so many churches, and every Sunday both the charismatic churches and the taverns and the shisanyamas are so full to capacity and to the rafters? And yet we remain such a violent country?
And in mental institutions across the country the black outliers are drugged up and told they have all kinds of psychiatric conditions. Those are clever and spiritual blacks that found no release!
An entire system was designed to hold back the black man, break up his Spirituality and his closeness to divinity!
We make music, rap music, pop music, soul music, jazz music, mbira, rumba music, gospel music, imbaqanga, afropop, amapiano, kwaito, hip hop, the blues, iscathamiya, ALL music. Ingoma. We are music. Siyingoma, sigiya ngengoma, sonke siyizangoma and we just dont know it. Why do you think Jerusalema was such a hit for the past 2 years across the whole world?
Master KB is only 25 years old! Let that sink in.
And when we do get to find out, when we are told of our higher intelligence, we dont accept it and we carry on living miserable lives trapping ourselves in a world designed to keep us subjugated and in debt, and we are financial slaves to the system and so far away from the understanding of who we are!
This makes me mad.
