I read a lot of Zat Rana. Dude is a philosopher and writes intensely on connecting to one’s self. I follow him on Medium and I find a lot of peace in his letters. He gives me some compass.
This morning's thought centres on why we are lonely, yet we are immediately connected to everything and everyone on these social medias. Yet we are alone and lonesome. Maybe me and not you bro. And being alone and lonely is not always a bad thing in this 4IR.
Finding time to be alone and lonely and introspective is also a good thing. For reflection and connecting to ourselves, amongst the chaos that this world is.
Feed your soul. Words and The Word have that power. Theres an important distinction here that I want to raise to your attention fam. Words come from books, The Word comes from The Book. And you may want to take that any which way it comes. You Jewish and your Word is the Torah. You are Muslim and you have the Quran. You are Hindu and (Im not yet sure whats the Word there for them peeps).
But surfice to say that spiritual enlightenment is the guardrails that we pursue for us to find wholesome goodness and peace in our lives, as we are living. You must have a fear of your God bro. Otherwise you are living a twisted life, that is probably in all accounts, a bit miserable.
But, I think spirituality has no plateau. Its an eternal pursuit to know more and get closer to the absolute. To the truth. And that journey never completes in our lifetime. So you got to get grounded in that reality. That nothing happens by chance or that you were the luckiest of the 500000 sperm to fertilize that egg that got you here, on this one earth. Because there is no life elsewhere in this galaxy. And you think that its all happenstance? For real? How old are you?
Anyway, lets read some Corinthians if you with me.
