Freedom! You askin’ me about freedom?
Asking me about freedom?
I’ll be honest with you,
I know a whole more about what freedom isn’t
Than about what it is, cause I’ve never been free.

I can only share my vision with you of the future
About what freedom is,
Uh, the way I see it,
Freedom is, is the right to grow, is the right to blossom,
Freedom is is the right to be yourself, to be who you are,
To be who you want to be, to do what you want to do.

When you’re young, and becoming, you dream.

You dream big. If you were like me, growing up with nothing, from a less than middle class family, you dream extravagantly big. You dream of luxury and wealth, and opulence.

You dream for all your heart’s desire and you work with the tools that you are given, by your parents, or your parent, as in my case. You use the education. You grow your mind and you acquire learning and knowledge.

Then you become, a man. You get a job, and a career. You acquire some of the things that you dreamt of early on. But, you discover that there is no meaning in those things. You yearn for more, the next best thing. And its never enough. The cycle continues.

You find that, you don’t know your purpose, your purpose in life. All the things that you have, all the things that you can buy, they still don’t quench your desire, and you will keep wanting more, and you will buy a lot of things fam.

If you are not careful, you will swim and eventually drown in debt.

Perhaps not you. But it happened to me. I have the 22Seven money management app, and for the longest time, I was at negative net worth. I realised that that wasnt right. I was actually working a good career and earning a better than the next person income, yet I was living from hand to debit order and to mouth. I was stuck in that cycle.

I had to call it quits on that, and get a grip. I had to lose debt weight bro. I needed that financial fitness gym session fam, to give me money muscle and clarity of mind to think longer into the financial horizon. I got help.

I had to find a purpose. My purpose.

Life is more than just passing through to get to a better place; even though that will be the end result, we will all die and maybe there is heaven, but we have to believe that life is much more, and so much more than living to pay the bills.

The reason we were put on the earth is not to do time or to buy and bid our time, but to accomplish something with the time we have been given. I encourage you to search, and find that thing, that thing that drives you to your better self. It could just lead you to your financial freedom. And it may make your life worth living, before you die.

You got it.
