Back to the basics. Forget everything.
My question is still not answered sir Polite Ndlovu . How do you own your own mind. I need the basis. Please explain your argument?
Create your own narratives and thought processes away from the prescriptions. The prescriptions are the prison to your mind.
Create your own path away from the grind and the books and the philosophies because thats all they are. They are random ideas, by someone who was trying to make sense of their reality, thousands of years ago.
You must generate your own ideas and live out those ideas as you see fit.
So no-one should read philosophy or history right. Noone should write anything down because that would be creating a construct for another which is then pointless if we exit and go back to the basics of your earlier thesis right?
So are you now informing us that the Masters Degree that you got from Unisa last year after writing a seminal work, it getting examined and peer reviewed was a waste of everyone’s time?
Those that want to believe and live in the old philosophy of Aristotle and Plato and Socrates can go ahead. I choose a simple life not shrouded in piles and piles of philosophy and devoid of LIFE.
With that Unisa qualification, I was box ticking. I don’t believe in anything that I have learnt at school.
You sir have deceived everyone, congratulations! 🤣
You are a winner wena! Lotto jackpot!
Love, laughter, compassion, family and friendship are enough bro.
Im with you. Burn all the books?
Yes. Worse for you who went to UCT, there were too many books there!
Didnt you see the fires, the kids have burnt everything awasekho! They now exist in the figments of our imagination 🤣🤣
Burn the hospitals too?
That’s where we should be headed... Burn the nonsense.
What about the churches?
Vele. All institutions are built on false reality.
___________
I see the thesis. There is a lot of strength in this argument.
You are saying, the only thing we need to do is learn how to count. If you have ears and eyesight you will be fine, and you will he happy if the rest of your body is still together as you age. Honour your Father and Mother, dont forget where you come from. This is enrichment.
So in essence, everything is real, yet nothing is real. Your reality is your choices. You can have a PhD and you could have read all the books, but the guy who has never set foot in school and lives emakhaya with no electricity could be a whole lot happier than you.
So commanding your own space, in the place that you are in is good enough. And if you dont bother noone, noone will bother you. Unless Cecil John Rhodes comes back and discovers Titanium/Vibranium in your Wakanda neighborhood.
Polite Ndlovu’s argument is that everything is a personal construct. He means that its your own choices that manifest the world that you live in. You are master and slave. You are designer and architect and builder. Thats the point he is making.
When I think about it. We have to accept that there are many windows and telescopes and microscopes. Thats why they divided the study of Economics into two. Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. The one says look granular, while the other says look bigger picture.
Sage advice. Totally savage.
